Examples of appliances that are within the scope of this standard are appliances that atomize water; appliances that evaporate water by heating and appliances that blow air through a moist element. This standard however, in general, does not take into account the use of appliances by - persons (including children) whose * physical, sensory or mental capabilities; or * lack of experience and knowledge prevent them from using the appliance safely without supervision or instruction; - children playing with the appliance.
