This standard specifies the test methods to be used for testing polymeric insulating and sheathing materials of electric cables for power distribution and telecommunications including cables used on ships and in offshore applications. This Section Four of Part 1 gives the methods for tests at low temperature which apply to PVC and PE compounds.
