This Standard specifies the test methods to be used for testing polymeric insulating and sheathing materials of electric cables for power distribution and telecommunications including cables used on ships and in offshore applications. This section One of Part 3 gives the methods for pressure test at high temperature and for tests for resistance to cracking, which apply to PVC compounds.
